The PE and sport premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils.

Schools have the freedom to spend the money however they choose, but this must be towards improving their provision of PE and Sport to give children the opportunity to develop a healthy lifestyle.

Queen Eleanor Primary School is committed to providing excellent sporting facilities and opportunities for all its pupils. The school offers a variety of physical activities such as athletics, football, netball, basketball, cricket, and tag rugby.

We use high quality coaches to work with staff and pupils in tennis, cricket, football and gymnastics and we are always on the lookout for new opportunities.

The school actively competes in community fixtures and have been awarded a GOLD school games kite mark each year the past 5 years.

Our overall aim at Queen Eleanor Primary School is to raise standards in P.E. and school sport, increasing the participation and opportunities offered to all our children. We aim to provide higher quality lessons and improved learning for all.
